🎂 THE GOLDEN YEAR IS HERE! 🥂

Meals on Wheels West LA is officially celebrating 50 years of delivering nutrition, safety, and smiles to our homebound neighbors. Half a century later, our mission remains exactly the same: ensuring no homebound individual or veteran in our community is left hungry or forgotten. 💛

To everyone "attending" our 50th Anniversary Stay-In Gala from the comfort of your couch—thank you! By skipping the pricey tickets and West LA traffic, 100% of your support goes straight to our clients' plates.

📈 Milestone Update: Our amazing community has already raised nearly $7,500 toward our goal!

The celebration is just getting started, and our gala runs through December 31. Help us fuel the next 50 years—no ballroom required. 🛋️🍷

Fund a local hero today! 🎖️

For Week 3 of our 50th Anniversary Stay-In Gala, we are shining a spotlight on the veterans we proudly serve at the West LA VA campus.

Our standard rate is $11.50/day for two fresh meals and a wellness check. But for heroes on fixed incomes, that cost can be out of reach. Thanks to our sliding scale, we never turn a veteran away—but we need your help to keep it funded!

Since we have zero ballroom event overhead, 100% of your donation goes straight to our neighbors in need.

You don’t need a tuxedo to honor local heroes. You just need to show up from the comfort of home.

The secret is out! 🎉 You are cordially invited to STAY HOME.

To honor our 50th Anniversary, Meals on Wheels West LA is officially launching our $50,000 Stay-In Gala campaign!

No expensive tickets. No uncomfortable tuxedos. No West LA traffic.

Why a Stay-In Gala?
Because skipping the costly ballroom means 100% of your gift goes directly onto the plates of our homebound neighbors. Every dollar saved on event overhead directly funds nutritious food and vital wellness checks for seniors who rely on us daily.

Pour a glass of wine, put on your favorite sweatpants, and help us celebrate 50 years of community care from the comfort of your couch.
