Wanted to share a little Arya update! Her foster (who found her forever home! Rock Dog) went to visit her after a month of Arya settling in to her new home. Arya is so loved, and loves her family! She’s loving her best life 🥰
Thank you again to everyone who has been rooting for Arya during her whole journey with us, for everyone who has donated towards her care, for everyone who walked her at boarding, who visited her at adoption fairs, who shared her story, and who shared her posts.

Ghost needs your help!
We rescued Ghost from the same (shut down) backyard breeding operation that we’ve rescued other frenchies from recently. Because they’ve all been so neglected, they’ve all come out with medical issues that we are not aware of. Ghost was no different. His back paw pad was gashed open (probably from spending his life standing on metal wires from a crate with no tray), and part of his paw pad was dangling off. He was in pain trying to walk and we couldn’t let him deal with that pain and possible infection for another second.
We got him in for surgery the morning after we rescued him, despite not having the funds for it.
He is now healing up, needing a splint and bandage change every 3 days until he’s fully healed. His teeth were also in bad shape, so they were cleaned and he had some extractions while he was under anesthesia. He also had a hot spot which was clipped and cleaned, and had his ears cleaned which were packed with debris (we doubt they’ve ever been cleaned in his 5 years of life), and other less serious wounds on his paws cleaned out.
Our current bill for his surgery is $839.37, and each splint and bandage change will be $54 (we estimate he’ll need at least 5).
If you are willing and able to help with Ghost’s surgery costs, he (and we!) would be so grateful.

Meet Sunny!
She’s a 6 month old (at the most) puppy who needs a foster by 9/27! Shes also available for adoption!!

Sunny was dumped on a construction site out in Jurupa Valley in 110° heat by a homeless man. The people working on the job site drove her to us in LA because they knew she wouldn’t survive in that heat. We named her Sunny.

Sunny is a very sweet puppy and has the MOST BEAUTIFUL eyes. She’s a gentle girl and is becoming very playful. She has been in 2 temporary foster homes so far and she’s very playful with their dogs. She absolutely loves to play! She also likes to play with toys, and of course she doesn’t know how big she is 😅
She’s currently 37 pounds, but she’s going to be a very big girl. Our best guess is she’s a Weimaraner/pit mix, or even some mastiff in there with the size of her paws.

She walks well on a leash, and she’s been doing really great with her house training. She’s also already learned sit and is learning her name. She’s a very fast learner.

Sunny loves people and other dogs, and is a big cuddle bug.

You’ve all been watching her journey for years, and we are so incredibly happy to announce that ARYA HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
Foster to Forever Home 🐕🏠 rescued Arya back in February 2023, and we took her in shortly after. Arya had so many people advocating for her, yet we could never find a long term foster for her, and she spent her time with us in different short term foster homes (all who were WONDERFUL and never stopped advocating for Arya) and boarding.
We are so incredibly grateful for Foster to Forever Home 🐕🏠 never having given up on her, and for Jan Vega and Rock Dog for their incredible work of taking her in, working with her, and posting her tirelessly until they ultimately found her forever home 🩷
Arya has been in her forever home in New Mexico now for a few weeks and they love her so much. She settled in right away and loves her backyard. Her previous foster (whose friends adopters her) will be visiting her this month and we are excited to get oodles of more pictures and videos of Arya living her best life with her forever family who loves her so much.
Rescue can be hard. Rescue can be draining (emotionally and financially), but these happy endings make it all worth it 💗
Thank you to everyone who never gave up on Arya with us, for those who have donated over the years to her boarding, those two short-term fostered her, those who visited her in boarding to walk her, and those who have shared her posts for all of these years. Rescue truly takes a team, and we’re so happy we could do right by Arya 💕

Sweetie: a series.

This little model is ready for her forever home! Sweetie is a 3 year old French bulldog who was used for breeding in a backyard breeding operation.
She is so gentle, calm and friendly. You can tell she’s grateful for her new life where she’s allowed to lay on cozy beds and blankets and snuggle with people.

She’s good with all people and other dogs.
She loves affection, gives kisses, and is an easy, mellow girl. Shes 26 lbs.

We are treating her ear infections that were ignored for so long, and it’s possible she’ll have chronic ear infections (as a lot of bully breeds do), so that’s something her adopter will need to keep an eye on.

Sweetie will make a great addition to any household, she’s a true gem 💎 💕

Can anyone foster this sweet baby?
We got a plea from one our amazing volunteers who has been visiting this pup … this dog is living in an homeless encampment. We’re told he’s not very big - around 40 lbs or so stands 2 and 1/2 ft tall. He says this pup is very sweet and just wanders around the homeless encampment, not belonging to anyone.
He deserves a loving home, not a life trying to survive on the streets, especially if he gets into the wrong hands.

Please let us know if you can long term foster or know another rescue who can take him! We just want to make sure he’s off the streets!

This sweet kitty is Teddy and he is looking for his forever home!
Teddy is a 5 month old very playful and active kitten! He’s good with other kitties and is sweet with people.

SANDY HAS BEEN ADOPTED! 🥳
Sandy was turned into the shelter as a stray. She now has a loving home (with a kitty sibling!) to call her own and we’re so happy for her and her new family 💕🐶🐱
