Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO Founded in 1885, the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO is the chartered Central Labor Council (CLC) of the AFL-CIO in Los Angeles County.

It is the second largest in the country, representing over 300 unions and over 800,000 workers. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Last week, we hosted a convening & call to action in support of workers with TPS in response to the SCOTUS 6-3 decision allowing the Trump administration to terminate TPS for Haitian & Syrian nationals, as well as to the announcement from USCIS that TPS holders from certain countries are no longer eligible to work in the USA. The convening included a panel with immigration & civil rights attorneys as well as experts from various immigration rights organizations.
