It's officially ! ❤️ 🧡 💛 💚 💙 💜

This month is a time to celebrate, reflect, and honor the individuals who helped build a more inclusive world.

One of those trailblazers was our founder, Adele Starr, a seemingly ordinary mother whose love for her son sparked extraordinary change. In 1968, after learning that her 18-year-old son Phillip was gay, Adele and her husband Larry set out to better understand and support him. What began as a parent's commitment to their child grew into a movement that helped shape PFLAG Los Angeles and support countless LGBTQ+ individuals and families.

This Pride Month, we honor the parents, advocates, and allies whose courage and compassion have helped pave the way for future generations.
