Upward African Woman Upward African Woman is a non-profit organization focused on changing the lives of women in Africa and beyond join us.

UAW is on a mission to transform the lives of women and children everywhere. We recognize that when you educate a woman, you educate a generation! Over the years, with your help, we have provided scholarships to women and children, individuals who had given up all hope of a better life. And with your continued support we can do even more. Our programs include:
*Scholarships for women to attend voc

ational training and tools to start a small business upon graduation.
*Scholarships for children in impoverished communities
*Educational Seminars and Mentoring Engagements

Our youth and kids showed up with so much energy during our workshop at the Expo Center, turning simple materials into meaningful work.

Seeing them learn, participate and express themselves reminded us why spaces like this matter. It was a day filled with teamwork, support and moments that truly inspire.

From the music to the laughter, the stories to the smiles, last Saturday night was more than an event, it was a reflection of what happens when people come together with purpose.

Because of you, we can keep building programs that open doors for youth, create mentorship opportunities for women and strengthen families through education and care.

In just a few hours, the Bridges to Brighter Tomorrows Gala begins, a night to celebrate community, growth and every story that brought us here.

From the young minds we have mentored to the families we have supported, tonight is about all of us, coming together to keep the mission alive.
