About Us
Q26 is a non-profit supporting LGBTQ+ creatives in the fields of Fashion, Film, and Music. We strive to keep people of color in the forefront, thus ensuring equal opportunity for folx in our community. Through our programming, we create a platform that gives q***r folx the space to speak their truths, express themselves, and grow in their craft. Our goal is to create connections and cre
ative support systems, ensuring that dream projects come true, and our autonomy as both individuals and as a community is gained. QTYPE is our triannual magazine highlighting q***r creatives in the fields of fashion, film, and music. Qtype also highlights social projects and small business owners whose services and products benefit the LGBTQ+ community. Q26 Productions include our in-house video projects. The collection includes OutCrowd, a series that highlights q***r creatives in the Los Angeles area. We also have two short films currently in pre-production, The First Time and Alani Taylor (working title). Our in-house films will continue to highlight creatives as well as tell diverse stories with a message. Q26 Blog highlights stories from talented writers in the LGBTQ+ community, with an emphasis on writers of color. This platform presents the opportunity for creatives in our community to share stories that are important to them - and get paid while doing it.
