📚KYCC's 2026–2027 After School Program is now enrolling! Registration is now open for students in TK–5th grade. Our program provides after-school pick-up from Wilton Place Elementary School and Wilshire Park Elementary School, homework support, academic enrichment, STEM activities, and social-emotional learning in a safe and supportive environment.

The program is held Monday–Friday from 3:00–6:00 p.m. at 680 S. Wilton Place, Los Angeles, CA 90005. Monthly tuition is offered on a sliding scale, with a one-time $35 registration fee.

¡Ya están abiertas las inscripciones para el programa extraescolar 2026–2027 de KYCC! El registro está disponible para estudiantes desde TK (kindergarten de transición) hasta el 5.º grado. Nuestro programa ofrece servicio de recogida al salir de clases en las escuelas Wilton Place Elementary y Wilshire Park Elementary, además de apoyo con la tarea, enriquecimiento académico, actividades STEM y aprendizaje socioemocional, todo en un entorno seguro y de apoyo.

Get ready to turn your ideas into art! KYCC Recovery Services is bringing teens a hands-on Lettering & Graffiti Art Workshop led by artist Javier “Wolf” Callejas.

Starting this Saturday, learn lettering and graffiti techniques while connecting with other youth and finding creative ways to engage, express yourself, and tell your story.

We are grateful to Shelter Plus Inc. for making essential items available to KYCC Housing Services at significantly reduced prices. Their generosity helps us provide brand-new clothing, shoes, household essentials, and cleaning supplies to individuals and families in our community who need them most.

Beyond meeting everyday needs, these items help our residents feel supported, maintain their dignity, and create greater stability as they transition into their new homes. We’re thankful for Shelter Plus Inc. and their partnership in helping our community thrive.

On September 24, KYCC Community Economic Development and BMO U.S. joined forces to bring a Financial Literacy & Small Business Clinic to our community.

With the support of BMO volunteers, who contributed 16 hours of one-on-one consultation, we provided personalized guidance to 9 clients and entrepreneurs. Participants left with real answers to their business questions, with several strengthening their business plans and others receiving guidance on improving their credit scores.

A huge thank you to David Betancourt, Guillermo Cervantes Rivas, and BMO for sharing their time, expertise, and resources to help our community build stronger businesses and brighter financial futures.

KYCC is partnering with LA Metro to help make public transit more accessible and affordable for our community through the Metro LIFE Program!

The program helps you get moving with 20 FREE rides a month, offering:
🚌 90 days of FREE rides for new enrollees
🚌 20 FREE rides every month
🚌 OR a discounted transit pass for 16 participating operators

To apply, you’ll need a government-issued ID with an LA County address and proof of income (check stub, Medi-Cal, EBT, Social Security award, tax return, proof of public benefits), or you can self-certify.
