Since 1945, The Music Guild has brought world-class chamber music to Los Angeles. This summer, we open our 21st SummerFest.

Six Sunday afternoons with 25+ world-class musicians at St. Alban's in Westwood, late May through August.

May 31 — Sords, Walz & Durkovic Piano Trio
June 14 — Chalifour, Fitz-Gerald & Friends
June 21 — Susan Greenberg & Friends
August 2 — Webern String Quartet
August 16 — Trio Azura
August 23 — Fiato String Quartet

Concerts at 4:00, with a pre-concert talk at 3:00. Come for a single afternoon, or become a member for the full season and hold your seat all summer.

Join The Music Guild on Monday, February 23, for a special evening with the New Hollywood String Quartet.

Titled "Old Roots, New Voices," this program traces a powerful musical lineage. The quartet will perform Haydn’s "Fifths" Quartet and Tchaikovsky’s String Quartet No. 1 before expanding into a sextet for Arnold Schoenberg’s masterpiece, Verklärte Nacht (Transfigured Night).

We are thrilled to welcome acclaimed guest artists Nokuthula Ngwenyama (violin/viola) and Eric Byers (cello) to complete the ensemble for the Schoenberg sextet.

Join us as the New Hollywood String Quartet explores "Old Roots, New Voices", a journey through the lineage of the classical canon. The evening culminates in Verklärte Nacht (Transfigured Night), where the ensemble expands to a sextet with special guests Nokuthula Ngwenyama and Eric Byers.
