DragonSprouts Mandarin Immersion

DragonSprouts is a 501(c)3 organization that supports the Mandarin Immersion Programs currently located in LAUSD Local District-West.

Founded in 2012, DragonSprouts was affectionately named after the diverse roots we planted when the first MI Program was started in LAUSD's Local District-West. Today, DragonSprouts supports the MI Programs at Braddock Drive Elementary School, Broadway Elementary School, Mark Twain Middle School and Venice High School. These programs offer students the opportunity to become bilingual, biliterate a

nd multicultural citizens starting in kindergarten through high school. Funding raised by DragonSprouts provides curriculum materials, teaching staff, and the future of the program as we expand in scope, size, and grade level. For more information visit us at www.dragonsprouts.org

UPDATE: The President's Service Awards program is currently on pause. We currently do not know when it will come back. We will request again when we know more.

Hello everyone. If you are eligible to receive the Dragonsprouts President’s Volunteer Service Award this year, please submit your service log to [email protected] by end of next week (6/10). Your form must contain your child's full name, age, grade, school, service hours line items, and the total hours completed. Incomplete forms will be sent back. See https://www.dragonsprouts.org/presidents-volunteer-service-award to download the service log. See https://presidentialserviceawards.gov/eligibility for eligibility requirements per age group.

When will the PVSA program resume operations? At this time, we do not have a date for when the program will resume. As soon as operations resume, all Certifying Organizations will be notified.
