Aviation makes a difference in ways many people never see.
is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that partners with companies nationwide to utilize available seats on scheduled corporate flight flights. They transport cancer patients to leading treatment centers across the country at no cost to the patient or the participating company.
It’s a simple, but powerful model: aircraft already flying, seats already available, lives changed forever.
Since it’s founding in 1981, CAN has arranged more than 70,000 cancer patient flights. Yet today, they’re only available to fulfill about half of the flight request they receive. 🚨
Here’s how the community can help:
✈️ If your business has a corporate flight departments, introduce them to CAN so they can join the network and make empty seats available.
✈️ industry professional can help spread awareness within their organizations.
✈️ Tell healthcare providers and cancer patients about CAN should they need a travel resource.
✈️ Contribute financially through or to help expand access to life-saving care.
To further bridge the gap CAN also accepts vouchers and donations to purchase commercial flights for patients when corporate flight flights are not available.
