I’m thrilled to announce the official launch of the Nick Itkin Foundation! This project is something I’m incredibly passionate about, and I believe we can make a huge difference—not only in the sport of fencing in the U.S., but also in the lives of many kids. 🙌
The biggest challenge in our sport has always been the financial barrier, and I’m committed to breaking it down. My goal is to give back to the community that has given me so much by making fencing accessible to all.
Starting May 25, we’ll be offering free Sunday classes for local youth. And with your support, we’ll be able to fund equipment, full-time training, travel, and competition expenses for kids who otherwise might not have access to this incredible sport. I was inspired by the legendary Peter Westbrook and the impact his foundation had in New York, as well as Nzingha’ Piste Foundation. Now, we have the opportunity to bring a fencing foundation to Los Angeles—home of the LA28 Olympics—and help create pathways for young athletes.
