🐾 RUPERT IS READY FOR HIS FOREVER HOME! 🐾

Sweet Rupert is a 3-year-old, 48-pound French Bulldog/American Bully mix who has truly been through the wringer.

In April 2026, Rupert was facing euthanasia at a high-kill shelter. Thankfully, Philozoia Animal Rescue stepped up and saved his life—but just six weeks later, he suddenly became paralyzed. 💔

A neurologist at VCA West Los Angeles discovered that Rupert had a severely damaged spinal disc that had been deteriorating for quite some time. After nearly a month of paralysis, Rupert underwent a miracle spinal surgery, with no guarantee that he would ever walk again.

But Rupert is a fighter! 💪🐶

After eight weeks of recovery, learning to walk again with the help of a sling, swim therapy in his foster mom’s pool, and an incredible amount of love and determination, Rupert is not only walking—he is thriving! ❤️

Now he is ready for the final chapter of his comeback story: a loving forever family of his own.

Won’t you consider opening your heart and home to this brave, affectionate boy? Rupert has fought so hard for his second chance. Now he just needs someone to show him that forever is real. 🏡🐾
