We’re looking for volunteers for a STEAM Carnival for Palisades Charter Elementary. They lost their campus in last year’s fires and is currently sharing space at another site. This event is a chance to give their students a morning that just feels fun, normal, and full of hands-on STEAM learning.
What it is:
A STEAM Carnival with science and engineering activities, games, make-and-takes, and interactive booths.
When:
Saturday, May 2
Event runs 9:00am – 12:00pm
Volunteer shifts from 8:00am – 1:00pm (includes setup and cleanup)
Where:
Brentwood Science Magnet
740 S Gretna Green Way, Los Angeles
What you’ll do:
Help run simple activity booths
Support kids as they play, build, and explore
Assist with setup and light cleanup
What to expect:
Around 150–200 attendees
Short breaks during your shift
Access to a teachers’ lounge (fridge + vending machine, cash only)
You’ll get a Two Bit Circus Foundation t-shirt to keep
