It’s EARTH MONTH 2026 🌎💚

First, a BIG thank you to (April 9–15) for reminding us that climate action in Los Angeles isn’t a single moment, it’s a living, breathing movement happening every day.

REMINDER: Climate action doesn’t end on April 22nd. It’s something we choose, build, and show up for daily. This year, is proud to partner with and uplift community organizations already doing the work—nonprofits, organizers, and climate leaders who show up consistently and make an impact just by staying committed. These are the people and spaces creating real change, far beyond the spotlight of Earth Month. We’ve intentionally collaborated with partners you can stay connected to year-round, because lasting impact comes from ongoing relationships, not one-time moments.

Hopefully, the R2R community carries this energy forward. That this “climate hype” turns into a climate habit. This year is about intentional connections for climate action. What choices, relationships, and systems will create the most impact, not just for Earth Day, but all year long? 🌱

We’re proud to highlight Community Compost Day on April 18th; an all-ages gathering rooted in soil, sustainability, and community connection. These moments are what climate leadership looks like on the ground: accessible, local, and people-powered.

We’re also partnering with & for 7th annual Earth Day at the Little Tokyo Farmers’ Market!

✨ Founder’s Note ✨

This summer was a gift. Thank you for letting me take some much-needed time for myself. 💛 I had the honor of officiating my best friend’s wedding in Michigan, celebrated love again in Berkeley with my partner, wandered through a stunning art gallery called The Blooms Are Fleeting, and welcomed my oldest sister’s new baby and my sweet nephew. 🌸👶

Overall, it’s been a season of joy, grounding, and gratitude. Now I’m back and excited to dive into booking speaking engagements, tabling, and outreach events, while also starting the early plans for Earth Month 2026. 🌍✨

And just to be real with you — R2R will be going through some changes soon. Please keep supporting, following, sharing, and most importantly, staying plugged in so you’ll be the first to know the big news. 💫

A Musical Uprising for the Earth is a transformational musical uprising inspired by youth activism in the climate crisis. Blending galvanizing and inspiring pop and folk music with powerful stories, it tells an urgent tale about the environmental challenges impacting the lives of all communities, all ages. Born through the collective synergy of Tony Award-winning playwright V (formerly Eve Ensler); the Tony-winning director/Terrie and Bradley Bloom Artistic Director of the A.R.T., Diane Paulus; Grammy and Golden Globe-nominated songwriter Justin Tranter; singer/songwriter Caroline Pennell; songwriter/music producer Eren Cannata; and orchestrator Daniel Crean; with contributions by Tony Award winner, Idina Menzel, the tour is produced by V-Day, in assoc with the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University.
