Last week, we kicked off the new school year with our Back-to-School Rally! 🏫🎉 Our members received a backpack filled with essential school supplies to help them start the year prepared and ready to succeed. ✏️📓🎒 Members also enjoyed a variety of activities, games, and delicious treats throughout the day! 🎨🍭 Our scholarship recipients also had the opportunity to participate in a special skincare workshop, learning helpful tips about skincare and self-care. 🧴✨ Here's to a bright and successful school year ahead! 💙 # StudentSuccess

VBGC members went out with a BANG at our End-of-Summer Celebration! ✨ Our members enjoyed tasty treats and a variety of fun activities —there was something for everyone! We’re so grateful for all the fun, memories, and smiles this summer brought. 💛 We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for Fall Programming! 🍂

What an incredible day for our Club and our community last week! 🎉

Last week, our teens joined fellow Boys & Girls Club members from across Greater Los Angeles for a special event with and at Boys & Girls Clubs of Long Beach.

They spent the day connecting with mentors, exploring hands-on skilled trades experiences and celebrating the power of community.

We're proud to be included in The Home Depot's $250,000 investment supporting Boys & Girls Clubs across Greater Los Angeles. This partnership is opening doors to great futures by creating opportunities for our young people to build confidence, discover new possibilities and prepare for what's next.

Thank you to The Home Depot Foundation and Team Depot for investing in our Club youth and the communities they call home! 💙

Disney Spirt Day was full of magic! 🏰✨ Our members showed off their Disney spirit by dressing up as their favorite Disney characters and wearing their best Disney attire. 👑🎀 To make the day even sweeter, everyone enjoyed vanilla ice cream sandwiches and Drumstick cones. 🍦 Congratulations to our three raffle winners, who each took a fun Disney-themed goodie bag. 🎁 What a day to remember! 💙

Career Day at VBGC was filled with big dreams and bright futures! 🌟 Our members dressed up as the professionals they dream of being, from dentists to engineers. It was amazing to see our future leaders step into the roles they aspire to have one day. We can't wait to watch them grow and see all they accomplish! 💙✨
