We’re doing it again! Last December you all helped us raise over $700 which went directly to purchasing food boxes for our holiday food distributions. Next week on Thursday, April 2nd consider getting your lunch (dine-in, delivery or take out) from the DTLA California Pizza Kitchen. 20% of all purchases will be donated to NHF! "Hi everyone! My name is La'Shawnda Cater, and I am pleased to join a mission-driven team that's committed to improving the health of individuals and under-resourced communities.

I am a proud two-time graduate of the University of Alabama at Huntsville, where I earned both my BSN and MSN degrees. My passion has always been serving the most vulnerable in our community, and I am honored to bring that focus to NHF!

When I’m not at the NHF’s recuperative sites, I love spending my free time taking care of my plants, spending time with my family and loved ones, and  attending live music concerts. 🪴🎶 I am so excited to begin this journey!"
