In September 2022, The WunderGlo Foundation celebrated our 11th Year as a cancer non-profit organization. Still going strong and now into our 12th year of operation, we proudly move forward with this foundation’s vitally important mission and work in Gloria's honor, as her legacy and visionary cause, and in support of all cancer patients, caregivers and their children everywhere.

• In October 2021, Southwest Airlines named The Gloria Borges WunderGlo Foundation as one of 52 non- profit organizations (top 2%) in the country to be recognized and acknowledged for spreading kindness in our community, during their 50th Year Anniversary "One Million Acts of Kindness - One Million Acts of Thanks" campaign. Southwest Airlines was impressed with how our team puts our hearts into action for our cancer community.
• The Los Angeles Business Journal named Gloria and The WunderGlo Foundation: The Philanthropist of The Year in 2015.
• In 2015, The WunderGlo Foundation dedicated the G.I. Oncology Lab of Dr. Heinz-Josef Lenz for the Cure of Colorectal Cancer at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.
• The WunderGlo Foundation has given $1.75-MILLION DOLLARS in funding research for the cure of colorectal cancer, detailed in The Wunder Project. https://wunderglofoundation.org/the-wunder-project- 2/funded-published-research/
• The Gloria Borges WunderGlo Foundation Reiki & Guided Meditation Program for cancer patients/caregivers in So.Cal both off-site & on-site at USC-Norris Cancer

• Our on-Line Facebook Support Group - called “WunderGlo Chat for Colon Cancer” - is privately offered to CRC patients/caregivers/survivors throughout the country.
• As “Patient Navigators”, WunderGlo assists and accompanies cancer patients for their primary and second opinions with Keck of USC affiliate oncologists and surgeon’s consultations.
• Grants directed to Dr. Heinz-Josef Lenz at USC-Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center and to Dr. Christina Curtis at Stanford University Medical School. The Stanford grant targets urgent work/understanding the mechanisms of colorectal cancer progression.
• THE WUNDER PROJECT RESEARCH -WunderGlo Foundation Funded Research, has been credited since 2015, has been published in 52-peer reviewed research papers, including New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet Oncology, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Annals of Oncology, Clinical Cancer Research and Molecular Cancer Therapeutics. https://wunderglofoundation.org/the-wunder-project-2/funded-published-research/
• In 2016, through Wunder Project funding, new biomarker patents were filed at USC- Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.
• The Children of WunderGlo” Programs support children of cancer patients. • In 2017, WunderGlo established programming that awards annual Scholarships to graduating High School Students across the country who have lost a parent to colon cancer and are pursuing their secondary education.
