Diakonia Ministry - Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Los Angeles Diakonia Misnitry is the arm of LA diocese to serve the individuals within and through the Coptic community to present everyone perfect in Christ.

Diakonia and Development Department. Under the auspices of our beloved Metropolitan Abba Serapion and the management of our beloved Bishop Abba Abraham Diakonia and Development Department is established to serve our diocese in the following fields:
1- Seniors ministry
2- New Comers Service
3- Arabic Youth Service
4- Free Indeed Ministry (addiction)
5- Prisons Ministry
6- Foster Homes Service

Diakonia and Development Department:

The arm of the diocese to serve the individual in different stage of life regardless of language or gender, within and through the Coptic community to present everyone perfect in Christ. It is the backbone of the orthodox understating of God’s love to humanity
