Walk 'n Rollers

Walk 'n Rollers We encourage children to bike, walk, skate and scoot to school more frequently. By building confidence, we can create healthier, more sustainable communities.

Walk ‘n Rollers was established to bridge the gap between cities that are improving their bicycle infrastructure and the user groups within those communities. We aim to educate, train and encourage people of all ages to be more active more often primarily by using active transportation as a means to travel yo and from school safely and responsibly.

Join us this Saturday, June 6 for a Metro Bike Share Adventure in Arlington Heights. We will explore community spaces around Arlington Heights, including stops at Owl Creek Books, Surfas Culinary District and Peace Awareness Labyrinth and Gardens. 🚲

We will learn more about Metro’s bike share expansion with some safety tips along the way. Metro Bike Share bikes are available for riders 16+ with reservation. Or bring your own bike and helmet and enjoy the fun!

Metro has a plan to make it easier to get around, including filling the gap between Metro Bike Share’s Downtown/Central LA and Westside service areas. This expansion project will ensure continuous service coverage and provide additional connectivity between Metro bus and rail services like the D, E, and K lines.

Register on Eventbrite at Metro Bike Share Adventure: Arlington Heights or click the link in our bio 🔗
