This July, CSA members volunteered in New York with , preparing and serving lunch to residents at their women’s residential facility.

We cooked together, served together, cleaned up together — and had the chance to sit and connect with the women who call this place home. It was a quieter, more personal kind of giving back, and we left truly moved.

Thank you to CSA members Amelia McCarthy Rasche, Erica A. Hart, Kate Sprance, and Kristian Charbonier for showing up with such warmth and care.

Grateful for this community and the many ways we get to serve it together.

85 pounds of garbage, one beautiful beach, and a whole lot of heart. 🌊🩵💜

CSA members and friends spent the day with Its Bigger Than Us cleaning up Venice Beach — and even had the chance to meet CEO Tyrone Nance. It was a reminder that taking care of our community means taking care of the world around us, too.

Thank you to CSA members Jane Flowers, Sunday Kennedy, and Adam Weisman and CSC friends Beth Fraser and Kehara Edirisinghe, for showing up and making an impact.
Grateful for this crew and every chance we get to give back together.

New York showed up. 🍎

This June, CSA members and friends joined at the Sunset Park Mobile Market to help distribute fresh produce to New Yorkers experiencing hunger. City Harvest rescues perfectly good food that would otherwise go to waste and makes it available, free of charge, to nearly 10,000 NYC households every year — and we were honored to be part of that work.

Grateful for everyone who gave their Saturday morning to serve this community. This is what CSC is all about. 🩵

Team CSC had a great (and sweaty!) time giving back at Griffith Park. 🌿🎬

We spent the day at the Fern Canyon Nature Trail catch-basin, removing weeds and invasive plants to help keep our local park thriving. Many thanks to Ross Arnold and Friends of Griffith Park for teaching us about the plants, providing all the tools, and showing us how to care for our park.

Big Thank You to CSA members Jane Flowers, Karri Granville, Sunday Kennedy, and Meg Morman, along with CSC friends Laura Linda Bradley, Meagan Cavasar, and Patrick Dielubanza. 🩵

Last week, CSA members and friends came together at Project Angel Food to do what this community does best — show up for others. Together, we cooked and packaged hundreds of meals for those who need them most.

A heartfelt thank you to CSA members Tineka Becker, Karri Granville, Sunday Boling Kennedy, Amanda Ogen, Alexa Pereira, and Meg Morman — and to CSC friends Spiro Pappas, Kimberly Demarse, Adam Faison, Mary Grace, and Kehara Edirisinghe — for showing up with such care and generosity.

Grateful for this team and the spirit of service that brings us together. 🤍

The Casting Assistant Pathway Program doesn’t end at graduation — it’s just the beginning. 🌱

Recently, CAPP alumni gathered in Los Angeles for a meetup. It was a joy to see this community continuing to connect, support one another, and grow their careers in casting long after completing the program.

CAPP was created to foster emerging talent and build equity in the field of casting — and moments like this are proof that the relationships formed here last well beyond the 12 modules. We are so proud of every one of our alumni.

This March, CSC LA members gathered at Our Big Kitchen LA to give back in the most delicious way possible. Together, we prepared and packaged 600 kosher meals for our community — and baked 1,300 snickerdoodle cookies to sweeten the day! 🍪

A heartfelt thank you to CSA members Jeannie Bacharach, Sunday Boling Kennedy, Meg Morman, and Amanda Ogen — and to CSC friends Laura Linda Bradley, Ed Cover, Kimberly Demarse, and Toria Molaei — for showing up with such warmth and generosity.

Grateful for this community and every chance we get to serve it together.
