On Thursday October 29, 2026, DCRC will be a Mobile Vote Center for the 2026 California Primary Elections this year! If you are near our office, come vote at our center. We will have refreshments and snacks for those who have a “I Voted” sticker

Got your ballot? You’ve got options:
• Drop it off: 400+ Official Ballot Drop Boxes are open across L.A. County
• Vote in person: Visit any L.A. County Vote Center. You don’t need to go to an assigned polling place – any open Vote Center works
• Mail it back: No postage required (mail before October 27 to ensure timely delivery).

Skip the lines, get it done, and wear that “I Voted” sticker before anyone else on your block.

Remember: returning your ballot before Election Day gives us more

In 1976, a small group of friends set out to change what was possible for people with disabilities. Their work is still changing lives today.

On Sunday, October 25, 2026, the Disability Community Resource Center marks 50 years of fighting for disability rights, independent living, and equal access. Join us at the Skirball Cultural Center to honor the people who built this movement and help carry it forward.

The evening includes cocktails, dinner, a live panel on the future of the disability rights movement, and a video and photo retrospective of DCRC's 50 years.

ASL interpretation and live captioning will be provided. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible.

Los Angeles made para-sport history, and our community was part of the story.

Long before adaptive athletics filled arenas, wheelchair athletes were breaking ground right here in LA, showing the city what disability pride and competition could look like.

That pioneering spirit is the same one that built DCRC fifty years ago.

We'll be celebrating moments like these all season as we count down to our Golden Anniversary Gala.
