The Russian Imperial Union Order (Rossiyskiy Imperskiy Soyuz Orden, Российский Имперский Союз-Орден, РИС-О) is a traditional Russian monarchist organization that was chartered in 1929 by white emigres living abroad. After the fall of the Soviet Union, the organization also gained chapters in the motherland. The organization supports the claim of Maria Vladimirovna, Grand Duchess of Russia as the s

ole legitimate heir of the crown of Russia. The Union Order is also formally allied with The Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Russian Grand Priory Association, the surviving Russian priory of the Knights of Malta. The RIUO is member of the International Monarchist Conference.

Российский Имперский Союз Орден (далее "РИС-О") является организацией российских монархистов-легитимистов созданной в 1929 году эмигран-
тами в Париже (Франция).

Фундаментом идеологии РИС-О является Святая Православная Вера.
Члены РИС-О (далее "Имперцы") признают незыблемой Соборную
клятву, принесенную в 1613 г. на верность Династии Романовых. Утвержденная Грамота Великого Церковного и Земского Собора 1613 г. в Москве о призвании на Царство Михаила Федоровича Романова является неотъемлемой частью настоящего Устава.
В настоящее время Главою Российского Императорского Дома,
согласно Закону о Престолонаследии 1797 г. и Учреждению о Императорской Фамилии 1886 г. является Ее Императорское Высочество Государыня Великая Княгиня МАРИЯ ВЛАДИМИРОВНА. Ея Наследником является Его Императорское Высочество Цесаревич Великий Князь ГЕОРГИЙ МИХАЙЛОВИЧ.

Twelve years ago, Anastasiya Illarionovna Woronzoff-Dashkoff, a descendant of one of the most noble Russian families, passed away in Los Angeles.

She was very active in the parish life of the Holy Virgin Mary Russian Orthodox Cathedral, where her father served as a warden. Growing up, she also played in a Russian folk balalaika orchestra here in Los Angeles. Her fathers sister was married to HIH Prince Nikita of Russia.

Here is a dive at her great grandfather biography: Count Illarion Ivanovich Vorontsov-Dashkov (May 27 [June 8], 1837, Saint Petersburg, Russian Empire — January 15 [28], 1916, Alupka, Taurida Governorate, Russian Empire) was a Russian statesman and military figure from the Vorontsov-Dashkov family.

He served as: Minister of the Imperial Court and Appanages (1881–1897), Chairman of the Executive Commission of the Russian Red Cross Society (1904–1905),Viceroy of the Caucasus (1905–1915), Chancellor of the Chapter of Russian Imperial and Tsarist Orders (1881–1897).

Слева от владыки сидит госпожа Лидия Куманская (Сан Франциско) супруга Георгия Куманского, около нее супруги Самойленко. Александр Олимович был представителем Корпуса Императорской Армии и Флота в Лос Анжелесе и его супруга Серафима Яковлевна. Биография Самойленко: Самойленко Александр Алимович, р. 28 июля 1898. Полтавская гимназия, Санкт-Петербургский политехнический институт
(не окончил). Юнкер Николаевского артиллерийского училища (окончил 25 янв. 1918). В Добровольческой армии
в 1-м конно-горном артиллерийском дивизионе; участник 2-го Кубанского похода, с 14 дек. 1918 прапорщик. Во
ВСЮР и Русской Армии до эвакуации Крыма; авг. 1920 начальник команды связи 2-й конной батареи 1-й
кавалерийской дивизии. В эмиграции в Югославии, 1922 член Союза русских студентов Белградского университета
(филологический факультет). во Франции, служил во французской армии, член Общества офицеров-артиллеристов,
к 1936 секретарь объединения конной артиллерии. Штабс-капитан. Окончил Высшие военно-научные курсы
в Париже (6-й вып.), с 30 янв. 1957 в США, член Общества Галлиполийцев. Ум. 1985 в Лос-Анджелесе. Жена
Серафима Яковлевна (по 1 браку Щупляк; 1902–19??)

Every year, children from Los Angeles participate in an essay contest dedicated to the memory of the Imperial martyr, Saint Alexiy (Grand Duke Alexey Nikolaevich).

This year, a few thoughtful essays were submitted, with all participants choosing to reflect on the meaning and importance of family — a theme close to the heart of the young saint himself.

The contest is organized by the Russian Imperial Union and the Association of Russian Nobility in the city of Saransk. Awards and diplomas, recently received from Russia, have now been presented to the recipients.

A heartfelt thank you to all who took part in honoring the memory of St. Alexiy through their words and reflections.
