Volunteer Spotlight: Ginger
"I joined WPV during the pandemic when we were making weekly deliveries, and have continued to volunteer by driving clients to run errands and attend appointments and events. WPV works well for me because of its flexibility, its super nice and efficient staff (especially Elvy), and its wonderful clients. I travel frequently so it’s important to me to work with a group that allows me to easily choose when I can help -- and not feel guilty when I can’t. I also enjoy individual clients, including my “regulars” like Eve H, Stephen S and Bob C. I appreciate WPV and plan to continue to volunteer for this excellent organization."

Meet a WPV Board Member: Tia!
Tia is a long time resident of Playa Del Rey, having moved there after graduating from Oregon State University. She is a retiree from a major defense contractor where she was a Senior Manager in Engineering. She has strong program and project management experience and her expertise has been instrumental in helping to grow our organization.

Tia is a former member of Westchester Rotary Club and the Westchester Family YMCA Board of Managers, and is a member of the Woman’s Club of Playa del Rey and P.E.O., a philanthropic educational organization. We are thrilled to have her as a volunteer for over 12 years, and now she serves as our Co-Treasurer.
