Thank you to everyone who joined us for our From Puebla to the Boardroom professional panel earlier this month. We’re incredibly grateful to our panelists, attendees, and volunteers who helped make the evening such a meaningful success.

Jesse Marez is an electrical engineer, entrepreneur, and founder of JM² Engineering Group, where he works in energy services and sustainability. Rafael Villegas is a Program Manager for Pure Water Los Angeles at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, where he helps lead one of the nation’s most ambitious water recycling initiatives—transforming recycled wastewater into a sustainable, local drinking water supply for the city.

With over 20 years of experience in water infrastructure and public utilities, Rafael has built a career centered on sustainability, public service, and long-term community resilience.
