🚨 The LAUSD labor partners, in partnership and collaboration, have worked diligently and tirelessly to negotiate health benefits for District employees across the board. The only acceptable goal during this effort was to reach an agreement that effectively maintains the level of health coverage
and support that District employees have earned and are entitled to.

The Los Angeles School Police Management Association is pleased to announce that after months of work, the combined labor partners have reached a tentative agreement with LAUSD. This agreement will not only maintain current levels of coverage and support, but also extend these
benefits through December 2027. The men and women of the Los Angeles School Police Management Association would like to thank our labor partners and the District, for working
together, being actionable, and demonstrating that the health and welfare of all District employees is a priority.

A juvenile student was shot on campus at Oakland Skyline High School yesterday, November 12, 2025. The shooting took place on campus around 1:30 p.m., and two juveniles were arrested in response to the shooting.

Police officers are no longer assigned to high school campuses in Oakland and thankfully Oakland Police Department was able to quickly respond to the school and provided life saving measures to the victim.

Thankfully the student is recovering and great work Oakland PD.

National Peace Officers Memorial Day

Today we remember, honor and pay respects to all those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.
