Through our Level Up Program, Greenway hires Fairfax High school students to be part of the operations team at the Melrose Trading Post outdoor market. ❤️ For many students, this is their first job, as well as an important opportunity for professional development.

This past Sunday we wrapped up our New Student Training process with the new student staff — these recently-hired students got to help out with scanning tickets, break down, and clean up.

We got the grant! 🎉 Thank you to and for another year of recognizing Greenway Arts Alliance as a grantee of the LA County Arts Internship Program! 🎭

This program has made it possible for our organization to offer educational paid internships to Los Angeles college students, who get to work closely alongside the teams at , , and .

Established in 2000 by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, the LA County Arts Internship Program supports and strengthens the cultural sector of LA County by providing access to high quality opportunities for college students of all backgrounds to gain experience, understanding, and transferable skills relevant to careers in the arts, the creative economy, and engagement in public life. Students develop a deeper understanding of the work involved in nonprofit arts administration, better understand the role of the arts in communities and develop skills that can be put to use in their future careers.

The Circle opens THIS WEEKEND at , a tragicomic play exploring three generations worth of intergenerational and intercultural conflict, rooted in humor, healing, and hope. ⭕️

Today was our annual Holiday Vendor Breakfast celebrating the amazing vendors at ! 🎁

Our Greenway Staff delivered coffee and bagels to vendors throughout the market. A big shoutout to for their donation to MTP! ☕️

We’re excited to welcome back for holiday carols as part of Merry Melrose at ! Their student troupe of vocal jazz singers roamed the market and performed on the Greenway Main Stage this past Sunday, and will be back on 12/14 and 12/21! 🎶🎶🎶
