Jatcsf Alumni Scholars Japanese American Treaty Centennial Scholarship Fund, Inc.

Established in 1960 by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Southern California (JCCSC) and sustained mainly by the generosity of Japanese individuals and corporate donors, JATCSF is a IRC 501(c)(3) Scholarship Fund annually distributing funds to graduating high school students of Japanese ancestry, in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of President Buchanan's historic 1860 hosting of Japanese

government's delegates in preparation for the ratification of the U.S.-Japan goodwill treaty later that same year.
