On National Senior Citizens Day, we honor the older adults in our programs and across Los Angeles who have spent a lifetime contributing to their families, communities, and our city, often while navigating incredible challenges.

At Weingart Center, we know that supportive services are what turn “getting by” into truly living. Like all clients, our senior residents receive wraparound support: on-site case management, linkages to medical and behavioral health care, and help navigating benefits and long-term housing options. These services are designed to reduce isolation, improve health, and create the stability that seniors need to age with dignity and safety.

Weingart Center has a new way to connect people to help.

Our updated Get Help page is designed as a clear starting point for anyone experiencing homelessness or at risk of losing housing. On this page, you’ll find direct contact information for our walk-in Access Center—phone numbers, in-person hours, and our downtown LA address—plus a short online form you can use to reach us if calling or visiting feels difficult.

You’ll also see links to countywide resources like LA-HOP for adults and Transitional-Age Youth and 211LA for families needing support with shelter, eviction prevention, rental help, or housing referrals.

If you or someone you know needs support, visit our new Get Help page at weingart.org/get-help to see the ways Weingart Center and our partners can help connect you to housing, services, and a path forward.

International Allyship Day is an annual invitation to support communities facing systemic inequities and to turn solidarity into tangible change.

Weingart Center provides interim and permanent supportive housing, along with a comprehensive array of wraparound services, to help people experiencing homelessness stabilize and move toward long-term housing. But our work would not be as effective without our allies.

On this day, we recognize and thank our partner agencies, corporate and foundation supporters, community organizations, and individual donors. By supporting our work, you walk beside our clients and help transform investments into meaningful outcomes.
