Help us bring another exciting and effective year to REFORMA Los Angeles Chapter service by nominating yourself or others to be on the Chapter Board. Current MLIS students are eligible for nomination, and all members are encouraged to self-nominate!

We are looking for nominations for the following positions:

-Vice President/President Elect

-Secretary

-Treasurer

-Public Information Officer (1 open position)

NOTE: All positions are expected to attend monthly board meetings and bi-monthly general membership meetings.

Nominations will be accepted from now until May 31, 2026. Please make sure that your and your nominee's REFORMA membership is active and current.

✨ ¡Feliz Año Nuevo! ✨

As we welcome the new year, we embrace it with gratitude and pause with reflection. The REFORMA Executive Board extends our deepest appreciation to our REFORMA familia for your continued commitment to serving Latine and Spanish-speaking communities and for championing Latine representation and support within our library profession.

2025 was a year that asked much of us—professionally, personally, and collectively. This year, we hope you are able to find many moments of rest, renewal, and connection. May 2026 offer space to care for yourself, share quality time with loved ones, and reconnect with the values that guide our work and our comunidad.

Our strength has always come from coming together—supporting one another, uplifting our voices, and remaining steadfast in our mission to advance equitable library and information services for all.

As we step into the new year, we do so with hope and purpose.
