Neighborhood Councils are designed to give all homeowners, renters, business owners, property owners, youth, nonprofit providers, and other a more effective way to improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods. Through Neighborhood Councils, all stakeholders will have a better way to understand the issues that divide them, and find common solutions through the bonds of friendship and communit

One of its goals will be to increase public participation in government. Neighborhood Councils choose their leaders, determine their agendas, and prioritize their needs. Neighborhood Councils have the ability to build communities and nourish the democratic spirit of individuals through shared values such as compassion, tolerance, and equality.
