True Connection is 501c3 Nonprofit dedicated to inspiring a deeper understanding of interconnectedness to ourselves, each other and the planet. SEL (Social & Emotional Learning) raises an individuals emotional intelligence, plus grows their self awareness, empathy, creativity and purpose. Research proves that students with high emotional intelligence are more successful in their careers and more fulfilled in life. They create meaningful relationships, communicate effectively, manage their emotions, empathize with and empower others, and solve problems creatively. SEL has the power to help our youth align their inner core values and beliefs with their unique passions and talents, and work toward their purpose in life.

Long before clocks, people tracked their lives by the turning of the earth. The solstice marks a threshold, the furthest point before the return. Ancient cultures built entire calendars, rituals, and identities around this rhythm. Something in human beings still recognizes it, even now.

Borders are one of the clearest examples of the illusion of separation. They are necessary. They are also incomplete. Displacement reveals what borders cannot contain: shared history, shared economy, shared climate, shared consequence. The line on a map says separate. The reality underneath says otherwise.

How might seeing more clearly change the way we participate in the systems that decide who belongs where?
