The Inter-Communal Solidarity Committee is a round table, a connecting point for Los Angeles social justice activists who want to plug in, raise funds, raise hell, and break the chains of capitalism. We are an anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-classist, pro-emancipation collection of urgent radical grassroots projects created by a diverse and changing tapestry of ideologies. We will smash until we win, and we will do it together.

Every once in a while I look at Quora and feel compelled to answer once of the questions users pose. Here's a recent example:
Question:
Why does Trump look exactly the same after 4 years whereas other presidents age quickly?

Answer from Michael Novick
Author at "The Blue Agave Revolution", "No Pasaran! Anti-Fascist Dispatches from a World in Crisis" Chapter

He doesn't look exactly the same (see all the other answers about how much he has aged and deteriorated mentally and physically, and about the level of artifice in his appearance), but the main thing is that like Oscar Wilde’s Portrait of Dorian Gray, he externalizes all the grief and trauma he causes and all the evil that he does. That’s because he is a shameless, conscience-less sociopath and psychopath who pays no attention to facts, reality or other people’s feelings. Therefore he experienced none of the stress or guilt that most vaguely human beings who held the job before him experienced, and bears fewer of the marks of the responsibility and guilt that the others endured. Emotionally he is still the same big baby he has been for decades, prior to and since his pResidency.

Two Black teenage girls at an all-girls high school in Louisiana just came up with a proof for the Pythagorean theorem that had eluded mathematicians for 2000 years:

A high school teacher didn't expect a solution when she set a 2,000-year-old Pythagorean Theorem problem in front of her students. Then Calcea Johnson and Ne'Kiya Jackson stepped up to the challenge.
