The wilderness was never the destination. 🏜️➡️🌿

God brought Israel out of Egypt because He wanted to bring them INTO an inheritance.

There was a Promised Land ahead.

A place of abundance.
A place of inheritance.
A place where they weren’t just surviving on daily manna anymore.
A place where they could finally possess what God had promised them.

And sometimes we just need someone to remind us:

There’s more. ❤️‍🔥

If you’ve been…

1️⃣ Seeing yourself as small
2️⃣ Surrounded by voices of fear
3️⃣ Circling the same issues over & over
4️⃣ Living in survival mode
5️⃣ Stuck in gossip & grumbling

…you don’t have to stay there.

God told Israel:

“You have circled this mountain long enough.” — Deuteronomy 2:3

There was an inheritance waiting for them on the other side.

And through Jesus, we have an even BETTER covenant with BETTER promises. 🙌

You weren’t redeemed just to barely get by.

Jesus invites us into a life of identity, sonship, freedom, purpose, peace, joy, community, calling and Kingdom.

So let’s stop getting comfortable with wilderness Christianity.

There’s a Promised Land. Let’s go possess what Jesus paid for. 🌿

Freely receive. Freely give.

MAYBE THIS IS WHY WE DON’T SEE REVIVAL…

“Neither is new w**e put into old w**eskins. If it is, the skins burst and the w**e is spilled and the skins are destroyed. But new w**e is put into fresh w**eskins, and so both are preserved.”
— Matthew 9:17

When the NEW W**E of the New Covenant is poured into the container of the Old Covenant, it becomes a destructive mess!

When we try to fit our NEW CREATION lives into an Old Covenant context, things break—and not in a good way.

We MUST appreciate, honor, and revere the Old Covenant for what it was, what it revealed, and who it was given to. And then we PRAISE JESUS that He fulfilled the Law and the Prophets and established a NEW Covenant!

He gave us a new heart.
A new identity.
A new creation.
A new command: LOVE.
And a law of liberty written upon our hearts by the Spirit.

If the new w**e of the New Covenant isn’t poured into the new w**eskin of life in the Spirit, we’re in for a mess.

But if we actually begin to LIVE as new creations—knowing who we are in Christ, walking in love, and living by the Spirit under a better covenant established on better promises…

WATCH OUT! 🔥

What if revival doesn’t come from trying harder to live under the old…

What if it looks like the Church finally believing and living in the fullness of what JESUS ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED?

Grace that transforms.
Love that overflows.
Freedom that becomes contagious.
The Gospel preached.
The sick healed.
The oppressed set free.
Jesus glorified.

“And these signs will accompany those who believe…” — Mark 16:17

THAT looks like revival to me. 🔥

NEW W**E.
NEW W**ESKINS.
NEW COVENANT.
NEW CREATION.

Thank You, Jesus! 🙌

30/31 DAYS OF GOOD🪞I realized something recently:

Sometimes I judge people harshly because I’m judging myself harshly inwardly.

Why am I judging myself more harshly than God does?
Do I actually see myself the way God sees me?

I’m the last it was my failures, insecurities, fears and self-talk become that showed me who I was…I saw myself as not only a sinner but as helpless and as small…

The Israelites said: “We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes…” — Numbers 13:33

In our own eyes. (How do we see ourselves???)

God didn’t call them grasshoppers. - They saw themselves that way.

In James it says the Bible - the WORD Is our mirror.
Maybe some of us have forgotten what we look like.

Because when I look into the mirror of the Word, I don’t see a grasshopper. I don’t see a helpless sinner…

I see a son.

Loved.
Chosen.
Forgiven.
Accepted.
Made righteous in Christ.
An heir with Christ.
A new creation.

And the more I learn to see myself through His eyes, the more grace I have to see other people through His eyes too.

Your self-talk is shaping your identity.

So whose voice are you agreeing with?

A year ago, our YES brought us to Taiwan. 🇹🇼

Not because we had everything figured out.
Not because we spoke the language.
Not because we knew exactly what the year would look like.

We just knew Jesus said GO.

And one year later, we’ve watched the Gospel move through conversations, worship, prayer, universities, churches, city streets, meals, friendships—and ordinary moments of obedience.

The Great Commission was never meant to be a special calling for a select few.

It’s normal Christianity.

“The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” — Matthew 9:37

The harvest is still plentiful.
The laborers are still few.
And the Great Commission is still for today.

Maybe your GO isn’t Taiwan. Maybe it’s across the street. A conversation you’ve avoided. A dream you’ve delayed. Someone God keeps putting on your heart. A step that feels bigger than your ability.

You don’t need to have it all figured out before you say yes.

Receive His love.
Receive His grace.
Receive His Spirit.

Then give away what you’ve freely received.

One year in Taiwan. 🇹🇼
90+ days left in this year.
Where is God asking you to GO? 🌏

Freely receive. Freely give.
