Life Worth Saving is an Organization that gives support to urban women and their families who struggle with Cancer and other life threatening disease.

Good afternoon! Well today was supposed to be our 3K walk however, due to the unexpected decline in my father's illness I had to cancel the walk. Life Worth Saving appreciates your patience and ask that you keep the McNamee family in prayer. Although we talk a lot on Breast Cancer all Cancer is hard to deal with and we just need a cure from Cancer. If you or your loved one are dealing with this disease now, we pray that God will give you strength and peace during this time.

This is a Free event. Everyone who is available to attend should. The information is priceless. Food will be served.

1. May 18, 2019-Our monthly cancer support group meeting at Vermont/Slauson-EDC-THIS MONTH -LUNG CANCER PRESENTATION from our friends at Cedars Sinai, HEALTHY LUNGS-HEALTHY LIFE is the topic. Also MY SAFE LA-Mr. Chris will present on personal fire safety in your home, car, and workplace-plus a FREE EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS STARTER BAG. Plus a little bit on Walking With Sally-how your kids are affected by your cancer diagnosis, A new program. This event is open to community men & women, free to attend. 2. May 25, 2019-Our paid pilot study workshop to improve Prostate Cancer Screenings, a three-hour group based educational workshop. Men will receive a FREE $25.00 GIFT CARD, A FREE LUNCH BOX, AND A CHANCE TO WIN ONE OF THREE RAFFLE PRIZES. This event is open to community African American Men Only age 40 to 75. This event is Voluntary & Confidential. Please see the flyer in the attachment.
