I think it is obvious by now that I have HUGE love for all Guinea Pigs! Especially the older piggies. Just as with humans, guinea pigs age and there may be painful physical changes that can be identified and treated.

So, every Saturday I make myself available to seniors (4.5 yrs and up) with the goal to identify possible issues in your senior so that they may continue to live their best life.

These special health checks are FREE and available Saturdays only, by appointment. I will put the link in the comments.

Make an appointment, put me to work!! I have dedicated my whole life at this point to the wellbeing and proper care of our beloved little floofs, the Guinea pig! Make me work! 🥕🥕🥕💜🙏

I NEED to introduce you to a new rescue. This pig has brought nothing but Joy and more Joy. Her name is Miss Honey and she is more like a puppy than a pig. She is a terrible beggar and highly skilled acrobat. Combine those skills and yup, you know it .... she gets treats all day long!

Rescued from the city shelters she has been diagnosed with calcified bulla syndrome. (Info link below) but she highly functioning just like Millhouse. She can be adopted out but to an experienced family. She can only be housed with another female that has CBS because it can be contagious. She lives with three other sister CBS pigs. Three of which are up for "special" adoption.

Email through the website if interested.

OH! Nearly forgot - we finally have a ZELLE tag - it is
guineapigs all one word and no caps. perhaps you may want to Zelle some $'s to support the rescue. This month I had to dig deep into our reserve to make sure the bills were paid. This is our quiet time.

🥕 Meet these furry boy kids that were caught when a large group of over 20 were dumped at a park in Conejo. They came Sunday for a bath and a request to surrender. All booked baths come with a free health check. We found Ringworm and Lice in these two.

🥕 Background - A few weeks ago a group of approximately 20 mixed s*x pigs were left at a local park. in Conejo valley. The community there stepped up and went about catching them and finding homes. They did a great job! We encouraged folks that have some of these pigs to come by for a health check and have shared our OT (over the counter) treatment protocol with them and s@x the pigs.

🥕 The work just never ends - 30 years of rescuing guinea pigs and I feel nothing has changed on the rescue side.
What has changed though is that we have learned SO much and the general standard of care show tremendous improvement.

Much love - Saskia
oh PS - I am so stoked!!!!! We finally have a ZELLE tag for donations. It is guineapigs !
