📚❤️ Big stories start with little readers!

A huge thank you to Read LA for bringing the joy of reading directly to our preschool and families! Our little ones enjoyed a special read-aloud, explored the READ LA Mobile Library, and each preschooler got to choose a book of their very own to take home. 📖✨

Moments like these help spark imagination, build confidence, and create a lifelong love of learning. We’re proud to partner with organizations that invest in our children and our community! 💙

The WELA YMCA Youth Institute Media Arts is more than a program it’s an investment in the future of our community. Through workforce development, hands-on technology training, and paid learning opportunities, we are helping create pathways to economic mobility for local teens.

A special thank you to Mark González for showing up for our future workforce and personally presenting students with their summer stipends and certificates of recognition. Your support reinforces the importance of investing in young people and their potential.

We hope every participant walks away with valuable skills in media arts, technology, and professional development that will serve them well in their future careers.

At the WELA YMCA, we recognize that economic mobility is a key social determinant of health. Programs like this help close opportunity gaps by equipping youth with the tools, experience, and resources they need to thrive.

The future is bright, and these young leaders are just getting started. 🌟
