A través del arte, actividades, conexión y reflexión, construiremos juntos esperanza y resiliencia. 🫂

🚀🌟 Our WELA YMCA teens represented East Los Angeles on a national stage at the Best Buy Foundation Charity Classic Teen Tech Center Project Showcase in Minnesota!

We are incredibly proud of our youth leaders who traveled with all expenses covered to present their innovative app, 4Vendors, designed to support local mom-and-pop businesses by helping drive more customers to their doors. 💙📱

Their hard work, creativity, and dedication earned them a $1,000 Project Showcase stipend, recognizing the impact and potential of their solution. This experience gave them the opportunity to showcase their talents, connect with peers from across the country, and demonstrate how technology can be used to strengthen communities.

From Boyle Heights to Minnesota, our young innovators are proving that the next generation isn’t just dreaming about change, they’re building it. 👏✨

Congratulations to our Teen Tech Center participants for representing our community with excellence and showing what’s possible when young people are given the tools, mentorship, and opportunity to lead. Thank you to Best Buy for believing in our youth 🌟🙏🏽🤗
