Last month we celebrated the permanent closure of the AllenCo drill site! We celebrated this great victory with community at Estrella Park over tamales and food 🫔 While we celebrate this victory, we will continue to fight to end neighborhood oil drilling and for community-centered and equitable land use planning! ✊🏽

The ULA Emergency Income Support Program (ISP) is now open! The City of Los Angeles invites low-income, renter households with a senior and/or person with a disability to apply. This program will prioritize households impacted by the January 2025 Wildfires and other recent community emergencies. Eligible selected households may receive up to $19,000 in unrestricted financial assistance based on household size.

WE ARE A COLLECTIVE: A statement of solidarity on Farmworker’s Day 🌱

Esperanza Community Housing extends it’s unwavering support and commitment to the defending the rights of women, children, and survivors of sexual violence. We reaffirm our commitment to fostering safer & healthier communities for all, and remind ourselves that our movements are not an individual - they are a collective.

We will continue to live by the words of Esmeralda Lopez, “The movement - that’s the hero,” by uplifting and empowering our community members, as we fight alongside them in the struggle for gender & social justice for all.
