This collaboration is dedicated to equipping the next generation of research leaders to thrive through valuable mentorship, educational training, and opportunties for student collaboration. This organization helps prepare medical students with confidently developing, executing, and presenting scholarly work.

Through this collaboration, we will work with GRC to explore student research interests in a supportive environment and pave the way for success in their future endeavors.

This week, the International Healthcare Organization (IHO) hosted our Health Equity Conference 🌎🩺, bringing together global perspectives from clinicians, researchers, and healthcare scholars across institutions.

We were honored to feature contributions from Ahmad Abu-Elhaija (UCLA), Dana Yambao (UCLA), Dr. Goulia Ohan (Yerevan State Medical University), Ms. Subi Biju (Yerevan State Medical University), Prof. Dr. Md. Anower Hussain (State University of Bangladesh), Dr. Sharmila Huda (State University of Bangladesh), Dr. Gareth Lubbe (University of Pretoria / TURF), and Vitthal Ramessur (University of Pretoria / TURF).

Their insights underscored a central theme of the conference: health outcomes are shaped not only by clinical care, but by the structural, social, and systemic conditions that govern access, opportunity, and equity worldwide.

The NAFC represents over 1,400 free and charitable clinics across the U.S. that provide healthcare to millions of uninsured and underserved patients every year — offering medical, dental, vision, behavioral, and pharmacy services to those most in need

Through this partnership, IHO and NAFC will collaborate to strengthen access to affordable, community-based healthcare and explore innovative ways to support clinics and patients nationwide 💙
