The combination of both definition Healing and Hope gives us “Healing with Hope” (HwH) is phenomenal to help PLHIV and those who are affected by it. Healing starts with the inner beings (Mind, Heart, Soul and Spirit). This is not only pertinent to PLHIV but those who are affected. Once we can impact these inner beings for PLHIV then the body can be healed. HwH will impact hope for PLHIV and those

affected by directing them towards the future and while we wait on a cure/vaccine, we’ll ignite ‘hope in God’ and this hope can provide present strength and encouragement as David says in Psalm 31. VISION
“Our vision is to be ‘The Voice’ for People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV) among Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs) and Communities, while stimulating ‘HEALING’ to the mind, heart, soul, spirit and body and at the same time bringing ‘HOPE’ to those who are living with and significantly affected with HIV/AIDS.”

OBJECTIVES
HwH is a HIV/AIDS PTCS Programme that aims to
{*} Educate churches and other FBOs on HIV/AIDS facts

{*} Support churches and FBOs in outreached opportunities for PLHIV and those affected, to include the local communities.

{*} Encourage HOPE for PLHIV and those affected

{*} Raise awareness and help integrate Prevention Programmes that can effectively and positively prevents HIV transmission

{*} Reduce Stigma and Discrimination

{*} Promote Love , Respect, Care and Solidarity

{*} Work together for effective and positive PTCS for PLHIV irrespective of ethnic, national origins or religious beliefs.

🚨 HANTAVIRUS AWARENESS 🚨

Hantaviruses are rare but serious rodent-borne viruses that can cause severe respiratory or kidney illness in humans. Infection may occur through exposure to rodent urine, saliva, droppings, or contaminated dust particles.

⚠ Early symptoms may feel like the flu:
📌• Fever
📌• Headache
📌• Muscle aches
📌• Fatigue

Severe symptoms can rapidly progress to breathing difficulties, fluid in the lungs, or kidney complications.

🛑 Protect Yourself:
✔ Avoid rodent exposure
✔ Never sweep dry droppings
✔ Use disinfectants and protective gear
✔ Ventilate enclosed spaces before cleaning
✔ Seek medical care immediately if symptoms worsen
