Dont spread yourself too thin out there on marches and get eaten up financially. Work days are important.

Pick the root of the local problem to fight for. Start and end there.

For Angelenos, since 1992, the south central farm next to the LA Food Bank is a no brainer.

BIGGEST urban farm lot meets BIGGEST homeless problem.

Ive caught wind since 2010 and it lead me to Northern California to understand how they still got their s**t together and why were falling apart at the seams.

Answer is simple. They VALUE alcohol and agriculture. Many families live well and vacation well because they make amazing wine, beer, meats, cheese, and veggies.

The south central farm isnt the final solution, Its the first OBVIOUS one.

LEARN: Want your kids to learn how city planning and get hands on experience in community development?

HISTORY: Los Angeles' south central farm historical timeline.

1992- rodney king was beaten tilnear death on camera by la police officers.

1996- female congresswoman proposedcommunity garden in unused space

2006- after ten years of no oversight. The farm was demolished and farmers physically and emotionally bullied by authorities.

2010- Green House, nurseries are proposed creating a worker-owned format to generate more revenue for the city and more meaningful jobs the community can be proud of.

Right now, plans to build another sweatshop down the street from their current warehouse. Expanding polution, parking lots, and mindless noise.

A local nursery is needed more, for food and flowers to be peaceful solution for any/all of the current socio-economic challenges LA faces in the immediate future.
