🥖 Why We Can’t Do This Alone

It’s hard to imagine, but right now in Los Angeles, nearly 25% of our neighbors are facing food insecurity. That isn’t just a statistic—those are families, children, and elderly individuals who don't know where their next meal is coming from.

At Bread of Life Foursquare Gospel Church, we see the reality of this crisis every single week. Our hearts break knowing that people frequently wait overnight just to ensure they can receive basic food, toiletries, and diapers for their babies. No one should have to wait in the dark of the night just to eat.

For over three decades, we have dedicated ourselves to being the hands and feet of Jesus in Mid City and South Central LA. Thanks to incredible partners and a powerhouse team that is almost 100% volunteers, we are doing everything we can to fight back against hunger:
4,000 to 5,000 beautiful souls assisted every single month.
Over 1,500,000 pounds of food distributed annually.
Hot meals, fresh groceries, clothing, and essential social services delivered right to those who need them most.

🙏 We Need Your Help to Keep the Doors Open
This is a labor of love, but love requires resources. To keep our pantry running, our delivery vans moving, and our facility open, we have a monthly funding goal of $22,000. This covers the absolute essentials: rent, utilities, insurance, fuel, and expanding our reach to offer housing and legal support.
We are making a massive difference, but the need across this city is growing every day. We cannot do it without you.
