Rise Up L.A.

Rise Up L.A. Our mission is to reach out and share God's love to the Mothers, Daughters, Sons, and Fathers that have fallen into homelessness.

We provide transportation in order to bring them to a shelter where they can find rest. Our ultimate goal is not only to bring them to a nice, warm place to eat and sleep, but also to bring them to a place where they can rebuild their lives; to heal from all their hurts and heartaches; to claim victory over any addictions that have prevented them from living fruitful and successful lives, and the chance to Rise Up and feel the love, joy, and peace that God intended for us all.

Thank you Mayor Eric Garcetti for all that you are doing in helping our City's homelessness.

Thank you Mayor Eric Garcetti for all that you are doing in helping our City's homelessness.

“No two people living on Skid Row, or in the Sepulveda Basin, ended up there for the same reasons. But the common thread among all unsheltered Angelenos is the need for a safe place to sleep while we help them find a stable home and a better future.” - Mayor Eric GarcettiLos Angeles is uniting t...

The latest count showed a 64 percent increase in the number of 18- to 24-year-olds on the streets. Authorities are better at counting them but more foster kids are also aging out of the system.

The Mayors Prayer Breakfast was a success! Over 500 peeps! It was great to have Governor Brownback of Kansas, state Senators, and Orange County Mayors come together to pray over our state and cities. Not only do they genuinely care about the people of their state and cities, but they also love the Lord! MPB was a great way to kick off OCCO week! Tons of great speakers this week. Check one out! I'll be speaking this Friday March 31st at 7pm. Details at Www.outreachweek.org and brochure ☺

All I can say is Wow. What an awesome missions trip. From hanging with the kids at the orphanage, to visiting a women's prison and "tent city" and giving them care packages, to going to a village to build a church from the ground up for the Haitians. This trip was a major blessing. I am happy to be heading back home, but will miss this place.
