Alpha Delta Pi was founded in 1851 as the first secret society for women at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. Alpha Delta Pi sisters strive for academic excellence, philanthropic service, leadership opportunities, and strong sisterhood. Our motto, "We Live For Each Other" exemplifies the true spirit of fraternity and leads us to live lives enriched by those around us. We believe in Alpha Delta P

i, and we believe that our sorority is more than just a ritual or a symbol, that it is a way of life.

A little late on this post, but our March 2018 winner of the Polished Pi award is Becca Thoss! Becca is a senior in our chapter who plays an important role in many sisters’ lives. Becca has a wide array of outside involvements which include being a USC M.C. Gill Composites Center Research Assistant and Viterbi Freshman Academy Coach. She is the Editor in Chief of Viterbi Conversations in Ethics, President of Order of Omega and is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and Society of Women Engineers. Through her involvements she proves to be passionate about her field of study, chemical engineering. Despite being so busy, Becca has remained involved in ADPi by living in the house for 3 years, as well as serving as Pride Chair, Philanthropy Chair, Executive Vice President, and Corresponding Secretary. She also never fails to offer to help set up or clean up for any event, showing her love for ADPi.
When asked about this recipient, her friend Madelyn Merchant said “Becca embodies the ideal characteristics of an ADPi because she always strives to do her best- whether it be shooting for the moon (literally), spending time with sisters, or serving as a leader on campus."
Congratulations Becca! Thank you for being a great sister and an excellent example of a leader inside and outside of our chapter. We love you and are sad to see you go!

Our February 2018 winner of the Polished Pi award is Noelle Pardo! She is a friend to all within the house and is described by sisters as a “wonderful listener and a friendly smile”. She is also an incredibly positive person. Her involvements include: the Student Alumni Association, Society 53, Club Beach Volleyball, and training to be a tour guide for the Admissions Center.
In addition, she is extremely passionate about her studies which relate to sustainability and medicine.
Noelle remains involved in ADPi by being a part of our Sports Committee and being both a positive and consistent presence in many sisters’ lives.
When asked about this recipient, her friend Lucine Beylerian said “Noelle brightens up every room she walks into. Her schedule is busier than I can imagine, but she always has a smile on her face and will always make time to listen to me when I'm having a bad day. She is the one who inspires me to become more involved and who makes me feel excited about the things I am pursuing. I look forward to our dinners every Friday night because even after a long and tiring week, its worth it. I am so lucky to have her as a fellow ADPI and one of my best friends”.
Violets to you Noelle! Thank you for being the ideal representation of a sister in Alpha Delta Pi. We love you!

Our first ever Polished Pi recipient is a woman who is known and beloved throughout our chapter, Shannon O'Hair! When asked about Shannon, her friend Claire Porter said, “She is the most supportive friend I have. She is always there to listen to my problems, and when I was having an awful day during my worst semester, she surprised me by taping a piece of paper full of inspirational quotes and empowering messages on my desk. She will always go out on a limb for a friend, dropping everything to make sure they feel safe and loved.” Shannon served our chapter most recently as Chaplain and is involved in Peer Health Exchange, Beta Alpha Psi, and the Marshall School of Business Undergraduate Advising and Student Affairs as the lead intern. She has even accepted a job with Deloitte after graduation! Violets to you Shannon, we love you!

Our officers had a wonderful time meeting sisters from other chapters and learning valuable lessons at ADPi's District Leadership Conference in San Francisco this weekend! We were honored to receive 7 awards including highest Panhellenic GPA on campus, outstanding achievement in Alumni Relations, and honor our sister Elsa Mann with the Collegiate Emerging Leader Award!
We are thankful for the hard work of all of our officers and excited to see what this year holds!
