Glenites of all ages come to enjoy Games, Music, Dancing, delicious Food and interesting Arts and Crafts. For 55 years now, Oldtimers and Newcomers have had the best of times at the Annual Glen Fair as the unique Glen Spirit permeates the day in Sunny Foos’ yard on Beverly Glen Place. The children always have so much fun at the games, arts activities, the slide and the petting zoo that is organized by Play Group. And they really enjoy visiting the big red Fire Truck and the Police Motorcycles that show up! Our amazing local artists display examples of their incredible creativity, plus people can browse and shop with wonderful arts and crafts vendors. Many a Glen woman is adorned with a one-of-kind piece of jewelry found at the fair. Every year, the listeners – and dancers – claim that this was the best entertainment ever! A stimulating variety of musical styles is performed by Glenites and others – every year, feet are tapping and hips are swaying to the sounds of the Flatland band, for example. Our very own Shira, the gorgeous Belly Dancer delights the entire audience – young and old .
