Taking a look at the designs of .studio at this years MET Gala ⭐️

“Attending the 2026 Met Gala, John Imah wears a fully custom Harbison Studio look: Custom Constellation Tuxedo, Gilded Paix Gillet, Silk Pyjama Shirt, and Gilded Paix Capecoat in Vanilla Duchesse with 24K Signature Brooch Hardware, Gilded Robotic Glove, and Diamanté Eclipse Earcuffs. Alongside him, Charles wears Custom Midnight Aero Suit and Midnight Sequined Pyjama Shirt.

Inspired by John’s Nigerian heritage and his position as a leader in the tech and AI space, Charles configured this look to amplify their shared love of gilding, elegance, and modern masculinity.”

TJ Walker will be in conversation with author, curator, historian and founder of NOMMO Cultural Strategies Tyree Boyd-Pates at the ASU FIDM Museum in Los Angeles.

BDC UPCYCLE 2: Grunge Reimagined

24 designers successfully completed our sustainable fashion program of educational workshops, transforming donated materials into 90s grunge-inspired looks for a culminating runway show at LA Fashion Week

The participating designers were presented with certificates of recognition from the Office of California State Assembly member Mark González. Additionally, five designers received the BDC Style & Creative Impact Award ($500).

Earlier this month, the BDC UPCYCLE 2: Grunge Reimagined awards presentation celebrated 24 designers who successfully completed our sustainable fashion program. Through educational workshops and a culminating runway show at LA Fashion Week, this year’s designer cohort transformed donated materials into 90s grunge-inspired looks.
