Black Design Collective extends our heartfelt gratitude to the City of West Hollywood (City of West Hollywood) for its generous support and co-sponsorship of the Los Angeles premiere of Love, Patrick: Nothing Is Impossible at the Pacific Design Center on October 16, 2026.

UPCYCLE³ hits the runway Friday, October 9 in Downtown Los Angeles. ✨

A look at the costumes of ‘Michael’ by Marci Rodgers, the latest guest of Black Design Collective’s Pull Back The Curtain Series.

On October 1st, the Black Design Collective, in collaboration with ASU FIDM, presented a special edition of Pull Back The Curtain featuring acclaimed costume designer Marci Rodgers

Rodgers is the costume designer behind the global blockbuster Michael — the first biopic to surpass $1 billion worldwide and the highest-grossing biopic of all time — with additional credits including BlacKkKlansman, Till, Passing, No Sudden Move, She’s Gotta Have It, and Wu-Tang: An American Saga.
