LA Ronald McDonald House (LARMH) provides a home-away-from-home for families with ill children.

Our facility houses up to 75 families each night, 365 days a year. Due to a limited number of rooms and the increasing need for our services, priority is given to families of children diagnosed with cancer. Families of children with other serious illnesses will be admitted as space permits. The House is in close proximity to Children's Hospital, Kaiser Permanente and Shriners Hospital, and the majority of our families are served at one these partner hospitals. We also accept families from surrounding hospitals such as UCLA and Cedars-Sinai. To request a room, please ask your hospital social worker to fill out a Room Request using http://rmhcsc.org/losangeles/page/refer-family or by fax to 323-669-0552. Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House strives to be your home away from home. Our two buildings (located next door to each other) each have a laundry room, computer room, communal kitchen, outdoor barbecue grills, outdoor and indoor play areas for children and visiting areas. We even have a fully-equipped exercise room available for parents to use during their stay. There is secure complimentary parking, and local hospitals offer free shuttle service to and from the hospital to the House.

Breakfast brought extra smiles to Ronald McDonald House Los Angeles! 💛

Kerri Harper Howie, Nicole Harper Rawlins, and their team joined us for a Meal of Love, sharing good food, laughter, and quality time together while preparing a warm breakfast for families staying at the House.

For families staying close to their child during treatment, a meal means more than breakfast. It’s one less thing to worry about and a chance to pause, connect, and find comfort during a difficult time.

It was especially meaningful to see their team experience the impact of their support firsthand. As adopters of our Continuum of Care Hallway, they not only prepared a much needed meal for our families, but also spent time enjoying the space they help make possible, including a little fun on the hallway hopscotch. Seeing them connect with the House in such a personal way was a wonderful reminder of how philanthropy and volunteerism come together to create moments of comfort, care, and joy for families.

Kerri and Nicole are proudly carrying on their mother Patricia Williams’ legacy of giving back, one Meal of Love at a time.

From summer BBQs and Meals of Love to outdoor movie nights, arts and crafts, face painting, and cupcake decorating, the House was filled with meaningful moments for families to connect, unwind, and create special memories together.

When families are navigating a child's medical journey, access to nourishing meals can make all the difference. At our House, we work every day to ensure families don't have to worry about food so they can focus on what matters most: being there for their child.

From July 1–7, we're proud to join and partners nationwide for the Nourish the American Dream campaign. Building on the momentum of our recent $100,000 milestone, this week of action will help expand the support we provide and ensure every family in our care has access to the nourishment they need when they need it most.

Together, nonprofits across the country are working toward a collective goal of raising $5 million to nourish every child's potential and help end childhood hunger.
Every dollar creates impact. Every meal offers comfort. Every gift brings hope.
