In the ancient Greek tradition, there were nine muses – mythical goddesses who each inspired artistry in humanity. Each muse had her own branch – Calliope for epic poetry, Terpsichore for dance, and so on. Since the time of Plato and Sappho, there’s lived the tradition of the tenth muse. Whenever a woman so excelled in her art, and was such an inspiration to the world through that art, she was kno

wn as a ‘tenth muse.’

Tenth Muse is a sisterhood of artists, manifesting that spirit today. Through art and the power of femininity, our collective seeks to bring about a renaissance of creativity and compassion.
