Gracie and Goldie’s long term foster is on her way to the next stage of her life in New York, and the girls are getting ready to start the next stage of their lives, too. ☀️

The girls made it to their super short term foster, where they’re staying for the next week. Next up for them: they’re going to a foster-to-adopt situation to see if they’d like to be bonded with another bunny (Thumper). There have been two successful meet and greets so far between the three, so we’re hoping for the best!! 💕

Their long term foster spent over a year socializing them and giving them all the snacks and offerings for bunstruction they could ever dream of. Thumper was adopted about a year ago from us and has been spoiled ever since. We hope this will be a perfect fit for them!!!

We are so grateful to everyone who has been involved in getting these three to where they are now from where they came. Each of you made a huge difference in the lives of these buns, and that importance cannot be overstated. We appreciate you, and these buns do too.

Hope everyone is having a lovely Saturday. More updates to come once the girls head to their foster to adopt home next week 😊

Just the Bud Girls enjoying their snacks on a nice afternoon. 🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰

Mama Lily and Iris have an applicant - can we get the rest of these girls in a foster or adopt situation?! They’re ready for the next stage of their journey - they love each other, but they would love dedicated attention. They are able to be adopted out in different combinations depending on your situation; just message us with any questions and let’s talk it through! 💜

If you run into any problems along the way, let us know, we are working hard to fix feedback as it comes in (but we can’t fix it if we don’t know about it) :-)

Finnegan is a sweet and shy boy who loves his cilantro, bell pepper, and apple. He was one of the original piggies rescued from the . Since he’s come into our rescue, he has been shown a lot of love and has gotten much more social (although he’s still skittish and will need time to fully relax, especially after moving homes).

Unfortunately, his current foster (who is also separately watching two other guinea pigs from the LA400) is moving and will not have availability to foster past 7/1.

It’s a lot on a small animal to move between fosters so frequently. These guys have been through so much that we would love to find a long term or lifetime foster, or a foster to adopter who can take him in and love him - no requirement to cover expenses.

If you can help, please fill out the form on our Linktree; questions can always be asked via comments or DM. 🔗 https://linktr.ee/2rabbitrescue

Capy is a one year old little guinea pig that came from the LA 400 hoarding case. The first part of his life was no socialization and no food, water, or care - since then, he’s been to a few different foster homes where he has been able to fully socialize, relax, and learn how to enjoy life.

His latest foster is moving July 1 and will not be able to take him with her. There’s no backup for him, and the last thing we want is for him to go back to the shelter. He deserves more than that.

Capy does very well with being held and pet. He is calm and relaxed (and loves his snacks).

If you can foster or adopt, it would make a big difference. All his supplies come with him, and you’ll have the support of our organization for life. If you choose to foster, you are not required to cover costs of care. Transportation can be provided for fosters or adopters.

Apply to foster or foster-to-adopt (same form, you’ll just let us know what you’re thinking!) in our Linktree. Find it in our bio or go directly to https://linktr.ee/2rabbitrescue 🔗

started with one bunny. 🐾

Tucksie showed up five years ago and changed everything for Alaina, the rescue’s founder. He’s still with her today - a sanctuary bunny now, with the kind of attachment to her that makes rehoming impossible and honestly, you’d understand why if you met him. One bunny became fifteen, and those fifteen became part of ours. Two Rabbit Rescue has taken on all of Tucksie’s Promise as our Washington branch, which means their animals are our animals - all 60+ of them across both rescues.

Right now, three of those bunnies need surgery and they need it soon. Mama needs an eye removed and a complicated spay. Tucksie needs a neuter - his risk of testicular cancer is too high to delay. Pixie has a nose injury that’s getting worse, not better. All three are scheduled at BluePearl Pet Hospital in Tacoma. The costs are coming out of our fund, and we can’t cover them without your help - a job loss two months ago hit hard, and medical care has been on hold since.

You can donate through the GoFundMe in our bio (or head directly to https://gofund.me/f19320103), or call BluePearl directly and pay under “Two Rabbit Rescue” or our number (442-442-6022) - just message or comment us first so we can make sure everything goes smoothly. 💜 Every dollar donated through the GoFundMe or to that hospital goes directly to Mama, Tucksie, and Pixie’s treatment.

Can’t donate right now? Shares do real work. Every comment and share tells the algorithm this post is worth putting in front of more people - and that matters more than most people realize.

If you’ve been thinking about fostering, volunteering, or adopting within the animal rescue world and you’re in Arizona: this is for you. 🐾

We’re an animal rescue out of Southern California that’s starting to grow roots in AZ, and the people who show up early are the ones who actually help us make this happen. We provide everything fosters need to get started, including education, supplies, and support. You don’t need experience… you just need to care. 💜

A little while ago, Gracie and Goldie went on a play date with Thumper with the intention to see if the girls would get along with him. Well, they did great! Thumper was very curious about both of the girls and being very polite. Goldie was super curious about Thumper and wasn’t very shy at all. Gracie, though shy, was curious with Thumper as well and was a sweet girl to everyone.

So, they will be going to a foster to adopt with the intention of being bonded with Thumper. We are super excited that Gracie and Goldie will be going on their next adventure - especially after over a year in the rescue and a lifetime of waiting for a home. We are also super happy that it’s with Thumper, a bunny that was previously in our rescue as well. Fingers crossed for these trio of bunnies on their amazing adventure.

Their current foster is moving to New York and cannot keep them past June 4… but their new family won’t return from vacation until June 11. Despite multiple attempts to find a temporary foster for that week, we’ve only had one applicant in San Diego… a long 3 hour drive for the girls, to there and from there to their actual home!

Ideal location is anywhere from Victorville to Murrieta, CA.

Moo is one of three guinea pigs seeking out homes by July 1 (all three are individually being kept with the same long term foster). They are not bonded and seem to prefer to be kept apart.

Moo is the most energetic, curious, bold, and daring of the three. He loves cilantro, bell pepper and apples. He’s quite active, preferring to roam around and explore new spaces.

He came from the LA 400 hoarding case, and has learned how to be much more social since he was brought into the rescue due to a few wonderful fosters. He would be happy to have a home to call his own - if you would like to foster or adopt him, he is located in Southern California and can be transported out as far as Arizona. All starting supplies included - along with the support of our organization for life.

Reposting this because the other video was a lot more blurry. This one’s a little better…

Belladonna is a love. She is a huge bunny who turns into a puddle when given pets, and does zoomies in between naptimes. She’s very entertained by paper bags, cat scratchers and boxes (so long as she’s allowed to destroy them). She would definitely commit to being someone’s partner in crime as long as she is ideally the only animal in the house. Children and people she has no issues with but would prefer they have soft pets for her and snacks.

She is vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Located in Southern California but we transport out of state to approved applicants. Please submit the form on our Linktree to foster or adopt: https://linktr.ee/2rabbitrescue (or get in touch if you have any questions!)

Use code 2RABBITRESCUE on https://bunbunandco.com for 10% off tasty holistic treats for your bunnies - it supports us, too. Keep an eye out for a full unboxing video coming soon for the latest goodies that she sent the bunnies! 🐰🐰

Yes, they ARE named after the three in - but they are much better behaved!

These three are located in but we’re willing to transport to surrounding states (especially / ). They are two boys and a girl, all siblings rescued at the same time, almost a year and a half old. All are fixed, vaccinated and microchipped - and potty trained!

They are well behaved around a house and with other pets. They love to run and play, showing off their impressive binkies when they’re happy.

All their starting supplies come with them, and we’re here to help with any issues or questions that come up that we can - if you’re thinking about it, please get in touch!
