COMMITTEE SPOTLIGHTS: PRAYER

Our prayer committee brings youthful energy to our ministry by leading our prayer events like MNP and EMP and guiding our ministry to be one that is prayerful. They never cease to pray for our campus and all of our requests from early morning to late at night. Serving Takeaway: Through serving prayer I really felt how powerful prayer can be and encouraged me to pray more often. I was glad that I was able to grow in my faith during this journey and hopefully helped others during the process as well. I couldn’t have asked for a better committee and a better serving experience!

The USC campus and the surrounding community is USCKCM’s mission field. Our outreach committee is responsible for the important task of organizing amazing events like EVs and Care Packages where we can share the love of Christ and spread the gospel close to campus!

Hey usckcm! We’re going to be highlighting each of our servant team committees, and to start it off we have VAM! VAM stands for Visual Arts and Media. We make graphics, organize pictures, and oversee all of our social media platforms (including this post!). We are also probably the most awesome committee of course 💁‍♀️. It showed me that even something like design can be a way to give back and make an impact. I’m super grateful for the friendships, the memories, and the chance to serve with purpose!!

PIE AUCTION IS FINALLY HERE! Our biggest (and our messiest) fundraiser is a wonderful time to show some love to our fellow brothers and sisters by throwing a plate full of whipped cream to their faces. One brother and one sister from each class will be selected to receive such love so make sure to keep voting for the one you want to see pied until Wednesday night! All the proceeds will go to our short term summer missions trainees!
