A Good Life Animal Rescue

This beautiful guy ( )has been through the wringer and so much change in the last few months! Left by his family at the shelter a few months ago as they couldn’t pay for his medical care (an ulcerated tumor on his leg ), then in an amazing foster care situation with Milo as he recovered from surgery for the mass (courtesy of the amazing Kai @ USS Bear), being placed on the euthanasia list and after all of that effort and love, his OG fam didn’t want him back even after the surgery was complete 💔

But things turned around… One of our board members saw this guy on IG and thought he might be a fit for her family, but since losing their other husky in June, wasn’t sure it was time. The next day, when her sister sent a pic of the very same dog, she took it as a sign. After a successful meet and greet with their resident matriarchal lady dog Luna, a match was made! Koda (AKA Haku) is now in his furever home 💜, crate on loan from AGLAR 💜

Many thanks to all who helped make this rescue possible:

We’d like you to meet Ms. Betsy. This darling feline is 14 years old, and has lost both her sight and her hearing 💔. She once had a home, but was found abandoned.

More than anything, we would like the rest of her life to be peaceful and comfortable. Unfortunately, she is in the beginning stages of renal disease and not only requires special food, but also Porus One, a kidney support supplement that is quite expensive.

If you are able to help us give Betsy a comfortable and peaceful rest of her days, we (and she! ) would be forever grateful. Any amount will help- no donation is too small.

Well lookie here! Someone found his furever home 🥹
Some of you may remember this beautiful boy-now known as Camo (formerly Wee Lad)…
He is thriving as you can see, happily perched upon the fridge!
Many thanks to all those who donated and shared posts for his care leading up to his placement. We are grateful for you and so happy to see Camo with his people 🐈🐈‍⬛😻

Meet Tex!
This darling cat has had had a rough time of it… losing his home after his owner passed away and ending up in a local cat colony.

At first, Tex was shunned and mistreated, but luckily, a kind person came to his rescue and took care of him.

Tex has been in the care of A Good Life Animal Rescue for six years. Even though he still has some trust issues, Tex has grown close to his fellow cats, loves to nap and munch on snacks.

Not only has Tex survived the streets, but he’s also beaten skin cancer!

To keep him healthy, Tex needs regular blood tests and X-rays. We know this might be a tough time for you, but even a small donation would mean the world to Tex and his AGLAR family. Please consider a donation for Tex on Giving Tuesday!

Meet Wee Lad- AGLAR’s latest rescue kitty… isn’t he beautiful?
While this little man has his wonderful foster family taking care of him, he will be in need of a furever home soon.

In the meantime, we are asking for donations to help pay for neutering him (approximately $165)— if you feel called, please head to the link in our bio or see the pinned posts for QR codes.

We wanted to give you an update on sweet George.

You may recall, he is an older, deaf kitty that A Good Life Animal Rescue 501(c)(3) (AGLAR)  has been caring for over the last six years.

We would like to express our gratitude to those of you who were able to give towards George’s diagnosis. With your last round of generous donations, we were able to discover that considering his age, he is slightly anemic and in the early stages of kidney disease. Additionally, he requires some dental care, including scaling and potentially some extractions.

If you wish to contribute to his ongoing care, here are the ways you can do so:

Thank you in advance!
